Bob is the founder of R.J. Spencer Financial Group and has been in practice since 1978. Bob has structured his business to support successful professionals, business owners, high net-worth retirees and clients who care about their financial well-being and future financial needs.

Highly credentialed, Bob uses his training and experience to help his clients with retirement and estate planning. Thirty years of building solid business relationships and close friendships has given him a unique insight into wealth accumulation strategies and a passion for Financial Security Planning.

Bob is committed to his career, keeping abreast of an ever-changing environment. He is an active guest speaker and lecturer at financial conferences and meetings across Canada and a member of a number of professional associations. Bob cares and is committed to ensuring that you can make informed decisions about your assets and estates.

He is a member of Advocis, the organization that resulted from the merger of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners and the Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (Bob was a member of both). Bob is also a member of AMF—Autorite des Marches Financiers.

Bob says “Much of our work is done with family owned businesses where the succession of the business is a key concern. Proper estate planning in conjunction with other professional advisors can provide for easier transition from one generation to the next. Most of the planning is tax driven and the result is usually substantial savings to the client and his or her estate.”
